Introducing the Brazos County Sheriff’s Office HEART Program, a new way to help prevent agricultural theft in our jurisdiction by enabling residents to register livestock and equipment with the Brazos County Sheriff’s Office.

The Brazos County Sheriff’s Office is responsible for operating the county jails, investigating crimes, traffic control, and maintaining communications with other law enforcement organizations. Although the Sheriff’s Office has county-wide jurisdiction, it mostly concentrates its activities outside city limits where municipal officers cannot operate.
